WELCOME TO TODMORDEN

CHURCHES TOGETHER IN TODMORDEN

Todmorden is a small Pennine town with a population of about 12,000 and covering a wide area. The Lancashire/Yorkshire boundary once ran through the centre of the town but we are now wholly in Yorkshire but with a cricket team in the Lancashire League and a Lancashire post code. St Mary’s (C of E) is in the Diocese of Leeds and St Joseph’s (RC) is in the Diocese of Salford!

Next CTT Meeting: Mon 11th Feb 2019

7.30 - 8.30 at Central Methodist

Prayer Stations

In association with CNI and the Calderdale Chaplains we will be praying at Halifax North Bridge, on the bridge over the M62 and at Walsden Railway bridge between 4-5pm on Sunday 27th January. We want to leave cards saying that those who seek to take their life are loved, are amazing, and there are people who are willing to listen. Please speak with Deacon Bob if you need more details. If unable to attend please pray wherever you are.

Sewers Wanted (ie people to sew)

I hope last nights meeting went well. I have a request for sewers, we desperately need costumes sewing for the Open the Book team.  We will supply fabric, thread and the pattern (see pictures). We already have a Roman Soldier costume and really need tunics, waistcoats and scarves.

Thank you, Nancy
