Todmorden is a small Pennine town with a population of about 12000 and covering a wide area. The Lancashire/Yorkshire boundary once ran through the centre of the town but we are now wholly in Yorkshire but with a cricket team in the Lancashire League and a Lancashire post code. St Mary’s (C of E) is in the Diocese of Wakefield and St Joseph’s (RC) is in the Diocese of Salford!
